Hello Friends of the Mountain,

This week has been historical for Southern
California and Palomar Mountain.

As many of you know, we lost our home on
South Grade Road. Thank you all for your
kind words and support during this time.
Our hearts go out to the residents of the
more than 20 other homes that were lost on
the mountain.

We would like to send our our deepest
gratitude our Volunteer Fire Fighters for
saving Crestline, Birch Hill, Bailey Meadow
Road, the Palomar Mountain Lodge, and the
Observatory. What treasures they are to all
of us.

My words cannot fully express the gratitude
I  feel toward the volunteers. As one other
resident said:
"100% volunteer, 100% heroes"
